Built in 1881 and was originally Flandermeyer Drugs in 1881, a pharmacy building, on the corner of Kenilworth and W11th., Civilization is Tremont's original cafe. It started as a small family-owned coffee shop and has grown to become a beloved local establishment. We are proud to have become a staple in the community and look forward to many more years of serving our customers.
Join us August 11, 2023 from 4-5 pm on our patio before hitting the festivities.

Cleveland Speaks to Me
Her old bones; the neighborhoods, factories, and bridges. Her veins and arteries; the river, her lake, rowers, ore boats and tugs, rusted industrial bones, and her color moods: from the blue winter snows to lurid purples and pink sunrises and sunsets.
